Our wristlet clutches are made from handwoven, Mayan huipiles. These huipiles (or blouses as we call them) are intricately detailed, and can take up to 5 months to weave. They are all one of a kind, and often tell a story about the weaver and where she's from. We purchase these textiles directly from the women giving them a sustainable income, and then recycle them into bags. All wristlets are lined, have a zipper closure with pompoms and a wrist strap.
